Up Close and Wild
Hands-On Artifacts and Live Animals

The Outdoor Discovery Center, located in Holland, Michigan, will present Up Close and Wild, an interactive program featuring live reptiles and amphibians and hands-on artifacts, such as skins, skulls, wings, feathers and talons of Michigan native wildlife species. Discovery Center staff will discuss characteristics of animals and how they fit into our diverse ecosystems. They will also speak about how the shoreline habitat restoration project recently done around White Lake provides important habitat for area wildlife.
